You are missing out on wireless connectivity, and there are lots of fiddly, easily tangled wires to deal with if you're moving around a lot.
Like any other pair of speakers below $50, the Creative Pebble Plus speakers are easily shamed by a mid-range set. They're easily the most portable system I tried and performed best in a smaller bedroom or office.
